As to whether it is worthwhile giving attention tospelling in English learning, there is a long-running controversial ’s quite natural that people from different backgrounds may have divergentattitudes towards it.

Those who have already benefited from practicing itsing high praise of it. For one thing, they are of the opinion that spelling isa basic skill and correct spelling can make a great contribution to our Englishlearning, especially to remember words. For another, they advocate that correctspelling is very necessary in communication. What’s more, it is a mark or signto indicate the level of our English and education.
