(1) a lot of = lots of

既可以修饰不可数名词也可以修饰可数名词的复数形式,可以相应地换为much和many;

如：

There are a lot of girls.=There are lots of girls.(这有许多女孩)

(2) some

后加可数名词复数或不可数名词，“一些”用于肯定句，或提建议的句子。

如：

There are some trees.(这有一些树)

Could you give me some advice? (你能给我些建议吗?)
