在雅思图表作文中，表达“百分……”这个概念的词汇一般有两个，分别是percentage和percent。很多考生对于percentage和percent的`区别不是很清楚，因此经常使用错误。

其实，在雅思图表作文的表达方式中，percent是“百分之”的意思，等同于%符号，前面应该用数据，比如50%可以写成50 percent，另外要注意percent后面不加S。

而percentage在雅思图表作文的表达方式中，是“百分比”的意思，后面不能直接跟数字，一般需要用the percentage of来表达某个百分比。此外，有时候也可以用proportion, share, rate等来表达相同的意思，比如：
