考研英语写作练习：偶像崇拜

The photo on the left shows a face on which the name of a famous football star “Beckham” is written. The line below reads: Worship is shown on the face. In the right photo, a man is having a haircut. The line below is “300 RMB to make the same hairstyle with Bechham”.

The two photos reflect a social phonomenon: idol worship. Today many people especially adolescents are crazy about idols and sport stars. Sometimes we saw on newspaper that considerate girls flooded to the airport only to see a famous single for some seconds. And it was reported that not long ago girls lined up outside the Expo pavillions all night in order to get a ticket for a Korean group, Super Junior’s concert.

Idol worship is commonly seen and understandable. Most of the idols and stars are charming and no wonder have idolaters. But we shoule remain rational. If we don’t have much money, then we should not spend all we have on the hobby. We all have our own lives and we should live it to its fullest wisely.
